season ONE

Intimacy in Marriage

An invitation to compassionately and curiously witness what's beneath the sexual intimacy struggle - to leave with real insight and practical tools to trace the struggle back to what it's really asking for.

Welcome to Season One

You arrive here in Season 1, Intimacy in Marriage, from different starting points.

Some of you are already married, and something about sexual intimacy has grown difficult, confusing, or painful, and we do not know where to take it.

Others are not yet married, and just the thought of sexual intimacy ahead brings fear, anxiety, or a worry you cannot quite name.

Whether you are living the struggle now or bracing for it before it arrives, this season was built to meet you where you actually are.

Whatever led you here, you are not the only one carrying this, and you are not broken for carrying it.

Season One Might Be For You If…

  • Dread sits with you when sexual desire has gone quiet, or when you and your spouse's sexual desire no longer meet in the same place.

  • Confusion follows you after stepping away from pornography, and you’re unsure what this means for your sexual desire now.

  • Frustration builds when sexual pleasure stays out of reach, no matter how long or how hard you have tried to find it.

  • Anxiety takes over around performance, whether that looks like erectile dysfunction or a body that will not cooperate the way you want it to.

  • Vaginismus (pain during sexual intercourse) turns something you long for into something you brace for, every single time.

  • Distance settles into your body and your sexual desire after having children, in ways you did not expect and do not know how to name.

  • Trauma resurfaces without warning, a memory or experience you may not have fully spoken aloud, the moment you try to be close.

  • Anxiety, confusion, and overwhelm arrive as you think ahead to sexual intimacy in marriage, long before it has even begun.

  • Rebuilding after infidelity leaves sexual intimacy feeling impossibly beyond reach, even when you are trying to find your way back to each other.

What This Season Is Not

This season is NOT a course about sex in marriage. There is no shortage of information already available about anatomy, technique, or mechanics, and that was never what was missing.

Nor is it built only to resolve the specific problem you arrived with. A quick fix to one struggle, without understanding what it is protecting or asking for, tends to resurface in a new shape before long.

And it does not treat sexual intimacy as separate from the rest of who you are, from your emotions, your history, or your faith.

Season One was built to hold something different: a return to yourself, and to what your struggle has actually been pointing to underneath. To heal and transform, rather than fix or solve.

What We Will Walk Through Together

Season One consists of a journey through the Witnessing the Soul framework. Across seven modules, we move together from wherever the struggle currently sits toward the roots it is actually pointing to. Together we begin by simply witnessing what is present, with compassion instead of alarm. From there, we learn to name what we feel rather than only think about it. Tracing where the struggle began helps us understand it, rather than relive it. And we return, again and again, to what is shifting inside us as we take small, real steps forward.

This is not a technique to master or a formula to apply. It is a season of turning toward yourself, and toward your (future) marriage, with more awareness and empowerment than either has ever been offered before.

How This Season Works

Season One unfolds across seven modules, released one week at a time. Each module contains several content focused videos, guided reflections, and practical implementation/homework, so that what you learn about yourself moves into your life and your marriage, not only your understanding of it.

The season opens on September 4th, and from the time you enroll, you will move through each of the seven modules one week at a time.

The Season One Journey

Season One does not move in a straight line. Each module builds on the one before it, and by the time we reach the seventh, we return to the first again, carrying more understanding than when we began. This is the shape of Witnessing the Soul: not a single pass through seven modules, but an ongoing journey we continue deepening, in this season and beyond.

Season One: Journey Outline

Module 1: Compassionate Witnessing

We begin by simply witnessing what is present, and learning that nothing is wrong with us for carrying this struggle. Here we meet ourselves with compassion and curiosity, perhaps for the first time in a long while.

Module 2: Name What Is Present

We move from thinking about the struggle to actually feeling it, finding language and even metaphor for what has lived, until now, without words.

Module 3: Trust & Go Deeper

We notice the ways we have learned to protect ourselves, and begin trusting what we feel as information rather than something to override.

Module 4: Trace the Roots

We map where this struggle began, not to relive it, but to finally understand it as something we adapted into, not something we were born carrying.

Module 5: Connect Back To The Present

We connect what we've mapped to how it shows up today, learning to recognize our own protective responses in real time.

Module 6: Nourishment & Areas of Growth

We name what this pattern is asking us to change, and we root that growth in the strengths and nourishment already present in our lives.

Module 7: Act & Witness Again

We take real, tangible steps, and witness what shifts in us as we do. And then, we return to Practice One (Compassionate Witnessing) again, this time with more insight, grounding, and empowerment than before.

A Note About Privacy & Confidentiality

It is understandable that accessing a program about intimacy in marriage, even privately, even with yourself, can feel vulnerable. Your privacy matters to me, and I have built Season One with this in mind.

An email address is required to enroll, so that you gain access to my private/closed platform for the journey. Beyond that, you are welcome to enroll under a name that is not your own, if that helps you feel safer moving through this season. However you need to show up here, in your full name or otherwise, I am simply glad you are here.
