I’ve been a little quiet on here the last couple of weeks — not because there hasn’t been anything to say, but because I’ve been sitting with what has been emerging, letting it settle, waiting until I had the clarity to share
Eid Mubarak! 🌙

Some of us arrive today carrying things. Grief that hasn’t lifted. A loneliness that doesn’t pause for the occasion. Confusion about what God is asking of us in this particular stretch of road.

And still — joy will
If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or quietly struggling — this is for you.

There is nothing wrong with you. There never was. You have simply been through a lot, and your inner world is asking for something most of us were never taught to
I’ve done years of deep inner work. And for a long time, none of it touched the story I was telling myself about who I am.

I know how the soul gets shaped. I know how imprints form, how patterns run underneath pain, how healing actually happen
We reach for labels because we need somewhere to put the pain.

And that reaching is an act of care — toward a self that needed language, that needed to feel less alone in what it was living.

But the label was never the destination.

Sameera Qureshi, MS is an Occupational Therapist, Islamic Psychology practitioner, and author, supporting others in living more soulfully — understanding the deeper roots of what they carry, and meeting what they find with curiosity, compassion, and self-accountability. Sameera is a graduate of Tufts University and Cambridge Muslim College; she is also trained in Trauma and Somatics and The Shifaa Method.
